About Us
A room,
built on purpose.
The Assembly is a private membership community of founders, operators and creatives in Chicago. Founded in 2026 on a simple idea: put the right people in the same room, and good things follow.
001 — Why we started
Chicago had plenty of events.
It needed a room.
Open networking tends to reward volume. Name tags, panels, pitch nights — a lot of handshakes and very few real conversations. We wanted the opposite.
So we built a closed circle: small by design, curated by hand, and rooted in this city. A place where people who are actually building here can meet each other properly — and keep showing up for one another.
002 — How it works
II
Gather
Private evenings with a fixed number of seats, so every conversation has room to go somewhere.
III
Build
Members meet across fields — law, finance, startups, real estate, automotive, creative and more — and build from there.
